Dextrose Monohydrate (Corn) is product containing a crystal water which is made from corn starch, liquefied and saccharified glucose solution, refined, concentrated and cooled. 
 

Dextrose Monohydrate is a form of single chain carbohydrate (simple sugar) made from corn starch and is easily soluble in water which is important for its’ palatability. Dextrose Monohydrate is commonly added to food to enhance sweetness, energy source and bulking agent. 
Dextrose Monohydrate can be either in liquid, tablet, or powder form and is often used in foods (including sports drink and energy gels) as the source of carbohydrate.
